A unique master planned community called Bucking Horse is being proposed for a 160 acre tract near the Sidehill neighborhood (northeast of Drake Road and Timberline Road). In addition to single family housing and townhomes, developer Gino Campana of Bellisimo, Inc. has proposed an artisan village of “healthy” retailers called Jessup Farm with a winery, farmer’s market, cheesery, bakery, coffee roastery, microbrewery, farm-to-fork restaurant, bicycle shop, and yoga studio. Campana plans to rehabilitate the 128-year-old Johnson Farm and Jessup Farm buildings currently located on the tract, maintaining their historical charm as an important aspect of the development.  The proposed project will also provide a variety of public community spaces including a horse arena, community gardens, green spaces and trails throughout the development. The overall aim for the project is to promote community living and a healthy lifestyle for residents and visitors alike.

Construction of the Townhomes at Bucking Horse and general site development began October 24, 2012.

Bellisimo, Inc. has completed many high profile projects in Fort Collins including the Villaggio at Harmony Road and Snow Mesa Drive, the Sidehill Condominiums on the northeast corner of Timberline and Drake, and the Fox Meadows Office Park on Timberline Road just south of Horsetooth Road, and others.
